One of ARCA's main objectives is to provide certification programs and standards for canoeing instruction in Alberta. In addition to our own provincial certifications, we support the Canadian Recreational Canoeing Associations National certification standards for Canoeing as well as Kayaking.

Our programs are continually under review to ensure that they are kept up to date, meet the needs of recreational paddlers in Alberta and provide a safe standard for instruction.

Privacy Statement

Your personal information, including name, address, phone number and email addresss, is collected for ARCA's use (statistics, membership information, to solicit volunteer assistance and to provide you information on ARCA/CRCA programs and services). It is not sold or bartered. When applicable, we will give out your certification status for confirmation purposes only. We do receive numerous inquiries about certified instructors from interested people and groups across the province. We WILL NOT release your information unless you clearly give us permission to do so via email or your membership renewal forms.
