You can purchase individual maps from ARCA via the mail. Each individual map is $10 Canadian. The price includes GST, shipping and postage. Make cheque payable to ARCA. Mail your request and cheque to:

Middle Red Deer River — NOVICE

Dickson Dam to Drumheller
Class I  
Aspen Parkland, Badlands, Canyon Gap, Content Bridge, Dry Island Buffalo Jump Park.

Lower Red Deer River — NOVICE

Drumheller to the Red Deer Forks
Class I  
Scenic Drumheller Badlands, through Deadlodge Canyon, Dinosaur Provincial Park Badlands, and on to the Cottonwood bends of the confluence with the South Saskatchewan River.

Middle Bow River — NOVICE to NOVICE+

Ghost Dam to Carseland
Class I -  I+   
Features spruce and aspen forests to rolling grasslands. From Ghost Dam through Cochrane, Calgary then Policeman’s Flats, the Highwood River, McKinnon Flats and on to Carseland. Includes the Lower Elbow River. Ghost Dam to the Gas Plant is the most technical stretch. Be aware of the Weirs in Calgary and Carseland.

Milk River — NOVICE to INTERMEDIATE

Whiskey Gap to Deer Creek
Class I – II   
Unique prairie scenery, coulees and river characterized by rock gardens and some undercuts. From Whiskey Gap, past Del Bonita, the forks, Milk River and Gold Springs Park, on to Poverty Rock, Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park and finally Deer Creek. 

North Saskatchewan — NOVICE+ to INTERMEDIATE

Nordegg to Drayton Valley
Class I – II   
A high volume river that flows through the foothills region of forested valleys and river characterized by ledges, wave trains and rock features. From Nordegg, Bridge through The Gap and many rough water stretches toward Saunders, Horburg and Rocky Mountain House. Then Baptiste River, Abraham’s Gates, Brazeau River, Lodgepole, Buck Creek and then on to Drayton Valley.

Athabasca River — NOVICE+ to INTERMEDIATE

Jasper to Whitecourt
Class I+ – II+
From Jasper through Jasper National Park and the majestic Rock Mountain front to Hinton, through forested foothills past ‘Tunnelrock’, ‘The Gates’ and the Berland River towards Windfall & Whitecourt.
